Full name (+titles, if any): Chrysanthemum Blumehaus, formerly Taardathras, Anthy to friends.
Age: Mid to late 20s
Gender: Female
Race: Qunari
Nationality: Qunari, though if asked she will say Nevarran.
Class/Occupation:
Formerly Taardathras, currently noblewoman and adventurer.
Background:
Chrysanthemum has always wanted what she can not have. She has always been a bit too self centered and romantic for the qun. When she was young she found out very quickly that asking too many questions would get you re-educated, thusly she kept her opinions to herself. When she was thirteen she was assigned the title of Taardathras. She didn't mind her job attending to the animals, but it wasn't particularly glamorous. In fact, it as hardly glamorous at all. She often chatted with the elvan viddathari that she was apprenticed to about the world outside the qun. Though he talked about it with disgust, it fascinated her. This fascination did not go unnoticed and the re-educators would soon come for her. Fearing what would become of her, she had seen those who had been forced to convert with qamek and didn't want to become like them.
So she was gone before they arrived, the teenager had always been good at escaping in the drills the Tamassrans would to have the children run. The attempt to capture her was also incredibly half-hearted. Escaping through Tevinter proved to be harder than she would have anticipated, if she had anticipated running away at all. The humans were more aggressive than the stories told and she quickly found herself in want of food and water. It was only by mere chance that Lady Blumehaus found her on the side of the road and took her in. Juniper Blumehaus was a noblewoman from Nevarra on her way back home from seeing an opera in Tevinter. Her driver stopped when he saw the qunari in the road, frightened, and Lady Blumehaus angrily hopped out to see what the matter was. Chrysanthemum hardly knew why the lady invited her into her carriage but she was not going to say no to the possibility of warmth. The two idly chatted on the way back to the lady's estate and the young qunari made sure to show her gratitude, though her common was broken at the time. Juniper was surprised by the amount of politeness from her and found herself enjoying what conversation they could make.
When they returned to the estate Juniper had her new companion taken care of; cleaned, fed, dressed. Then in the next few months taught her the ways of human society and how to correctly speak common. Over the next several months she was given a name and could be seen with Lady Blumehaus at many social gatherings. After about a year of this, Juniper declared that Chrysanthemum would be the heir to her title and estate. This was not because she didn't have any official heirs before that, she had three grown children who would happily take that position. It was merely that Juniper thought her children to be ungrateful louts and preferred Anthy's calm, collected demeanor. With that, naturally, came a fair amount of danger. So Anthy was trained in swordplay and fencing soon after.
Several years later, Anthy decided to leave Juniper's side to go adventure south. She promised to bring her patron many stories and beautiful trinkets.
Personality:
Anthy is very free spirited. She often does what she wants when she sees fit, this often leads to her being selfish. Though she will fix injustices if she comes across them, you're more likely to get help if you're beautiful and probably going to kiss her. Her charisma earns her many things in life, in fact it's why she's still alive. Anthy is clever with a silver tongue and can get herself and others out of very tight spots.
She isn't fond of working with others, preferring to be the sole one in the spotlight, but will if she sees fit. It takes a lot to gain her loyalty, she will sell you out for a slightly rarer steak, but once it is obtained she will be faithful as can be. She prefers company to being alone and will start conversations with almost anyone.
Since being taken in by Lady Blumehaus she has converted to Andrastism though she does not entirely share all of the beliefs of the Chant. She does think mages need some kind of control over them, but sees no reason for them to be locked in a tower when they could be put to better use outside of it. Anthy is not in any position to turn down willing party members, however, she knows many people are wary of qunari and will take what help she can get. She, obviously, is not in favor of the qun but sees no reason, for her personally, to active oppose it because doing so would only make things worse for her.

Writing sample (A third person (prose) sample that should contain at least ten sentences and feature some dialogue.):
The young girl lay out in the road, just waiting for death to come upon her. Surely re-education would be better than this. Anything would be better than this. She heard a carriage coming along the trail, hoping it would run her over. It didn't. Instead, it stopped.
"What are you DOING?" A well-dressed woman got out of the carriage. She was yelling at the driver. "You can't.... stop... the road!"
Taardathras couldn't make out all of what she was saying. She didn't know much of the common tongue. The driver said something with qunari in it. Must have been referring to her. The woman turned her face to Taardathras and walked over with her skirts lifted slightly to avoid the mud.
"Are you okay?" She spoke slowly, it took a moment to process. When it did Taardathras simply shook her head no. The woman huffed and looked around. She then began trying to lift the qunari up. It took some time for her to get the young girl into the carriage. "What are you... for?! Go!"
Taardathras choked out a laugh as the woman yelled at her driver. She asked for her name.
"Not... have name. Only title." The qunari responded. The woman nodded slowly and looked out the window. Taardathras didn't know where they were going but she supposed it would be better than laying on the road for the rest of the day.
Occasionally, the woman would ask questions that she barely understood and she would reply back with broken common. Eventually the qunari fell asleep, exhaustion overpowering her hunger.
